Sebaceous cysts are much deeper beneath the skin, and they can
sometimes discolor the skin. While sebaceous cysts can eventually develop
something that looks like a whitehead, it takes much longer, and they’re
often a lot larger than acne.
Cleanse with citric acid, salyciic acid or tea tree oil products.
According to Dermatologist, despite the marketing claims acne treatment
does not give clear skin overnight.
Often the doctors give oral medication like isotretinoin which is potent and
very effective. Over a period of time Isotretinoin treatment reduces acne
and the skin becomes brighter. Acne might break out in the initial days of
oral medication.. The oral medication should be given under guidance of a
dermatologist only. Many who take this medication for 4 to 6 months have
manageable acne for a long time.
For milder cases topical products of Isotretinoin, Tretinoin or various
combinations might be given.
